ReBirth

Last week I started a new health plan.  I cut down on the weed, cut out 95% of all animal products, and ate a prmarily raw/vegan diet.  I was not completely raw because in the cold months I like to make sure that my internal flame is not put out by only ingesting cold foods, but I still wanted to maintain a majority of live and energy transferring meals.   My days went pretty much like this:

AM;
Warm water with lemon

Green juice (a mixture of):
     -kale
     -celery
     -cucumber
     -carrots
     -lemon juice

My Goddess Tea

Smoothie:
     -Pear or Apple
     -carrots
     -kiwi
     -spirulina, Omega 3
     -coconut water

Lunch:
      -cooked squash with rice
      -Bean and vegetable salad
      -Treated to dumplings one day

Snack:
      -1/2 Apple or Banana
-Trail Mix with nuts, seeds, dried fruit, M&Ms

Dinner:
      -Tofu and Mushrooms with Rice
-Spinach Pasta with mushroom and squash marinara sauce

My Luna Tea

I was not perfect.  One day I split an un-oily mushroom pizza with a friend and i had 2 bags of hot cheetos.  For my bosses son's birthday I ate a cupcake.  However, although I did eat things that were not particularly healthy, I still managed to eat tons of fruits and veggies each day.  My skin looks so much better and my digestion is picking up as well.  I feel very inspired and am ready to treat my body like the temple that it is. I have been lost lately and seperated from my inner voice; My inner Goddess. I am reclaiming Katie.

This coming week I am going to re-stock on some farmer's market goodies and introduce a few new ways to improve.

Goals:
Buy some Kefir Grains
Buy Chlorophyl
Buy lemon juicer

Juice and Smoothie in mornings still.
Lunch:
   -ceviche salad
   -guacamole
   -tomato chile *raw recipe*

I also want to make homemade almond milk.  If these things work out, I will let you know and I will try and post pictures of my progress.

:) I am so excited to start living the way I have been daydreaming and researching about.
